R&D Engineer/Scientist II

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our R&D activities, driving technological advancements that align with Honeywell's strategic goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Conduct research and development activities in line with the organization's goals and objectives.

+ Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive the development of new technologies and products.

+ Collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage collective expertise and resources.

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment.

+ Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields.

+ Proven track record of technical leadership and project management.

+ Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.

+ Experience with experimental design and data analysis tools.

+ Degree or Advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or another related field.

+ 6 years of experience leading research and development projects.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The annual base salary range for this position in Minneapolis, MN is **$88,800 - $111,000** . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
