Machine Operator

The Advance Group has partnered with a company in Monroe, MI seeking experienced Machine Operators. Pay increases available after 30 days!!

Job Duties for Machine Operators:

Tends to processing machines such as: Steel Pickling, Galvanizing and Slitting Machines.
Reads production orders to determine material requirements.
Cuts welds to separate material.
Operates oiler to ensure proper oil is applied.
Performs minor machine maintenance and general housekeeping.

Requirements of Machine Operators:

Ability to perform shop math (multiple and divide, add and subtract two digit numbers).
Ability to read schematic drawings.
Prior Steel experience required, Pickling experience preferred.
Regularly lift and move parts up to 25lbs.

Hours for Machine Operators:

Monday-Friday 12am-8am
Must be available for daily Overtime and occasional work on Saturdays and Sundays
Must be available for training on 1st shift (8am-4pm)

Compensation for Machine Operators:

$22.25hr
Double time for Sundays!
