Program Manager III, Transportation, Devices and Services

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 5 years of experience in program or project management.

+ Experience in transportation and with managing transportation carriers (e.g domestic, international, air, truck or parcel freight).

Preferred qualifications:

+ 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

+ Experience with a transportation management system.

+ Experience with data analysis and reporting.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The North America Transportation team for Devices and Services plays a critical role in delivering the Pixel portfolio (Pixel Phone, Pixel Buds, Pixel Watch) to customers. This team willl manage the flow of goods from factories to regional Google Distribution Centers, and then to various channels: retailers (B2B), Googlers (B2G), Google stores, and final consumers (B2C). This team also facilitates reverse logistics for repairs and warehouse replenishment. Collaborating with premium freight forwarders and domestic carriers, it ensures on-time delivery and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders through timely communication and issue resolution.

As the Transportation Manager for the North America Pixel Portfolio, you will lead the transportation strategy and execution, you will be responsible for scaling the Google Store transportation multi-channel capabilities, securing timely deliveries for Googlers in the B2G Network and non-commercial launch units, optimizing warehouse and MFCs fulfillment, and continuously improving on-time delivery performance. Your strategic approach will balance lead time and cost, ensuring budget adherence while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Strategically scale and optimize transportation capabilities for Google Store fulfillment and multi-channel service, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

+ Secure meticulous tracking and dedicated customer service for non-commercial launch deliveries, ensure flawless execution and timely arrival.

+ Ensure the timely and cost-efficient fulfillment of warehouses and MFCs, optimize inventory flow and minimize delays.

+ Proactively identify and implement strategies to improve on-time delivery performance, reduce transit times and enhance reliability.

+ Analyze transportation data to identify trends, optimize processes, and generate comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
