Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

SMT operator must monitor and maintains equipment used to create electronic Circuit Cards. Must have a strong knowledge of operating the Surface Mount equipment. Primary job duties involve operating an SMT machine to mount electronic components directly onto circuit boards with high quality standards. Strong knowledge of SMT components, Polarity, SMT package, SMT feeders needed to operated and run product. Experience using computers and down low programs to run specific product.

Strong knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job. Works under minimum general supervision with some instructions given for routine work. Detailed instructions given for new assignments and strong attention to detail with high quality standards.
