As a Clinical Systems Delivery Consultant/M anager , your primary responsibilities may include:    

Project Management and System Implementation

+ Lead the planning, design, and implementation of clinical information systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

+ Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, coordinating closely with client and internal teams to meet project milestones.

+ Oversee system testing, integration, and user acceptance phases, ensuring that clinical systems meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Client Management

+ Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and successes.

+ Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with clinical and operational goals.

Workflow Optimization and Change Management

+ Work with clinical and operational teams to assess current workflows and identify areas for improvement, ensuring clinical systems are optimized to support care delivery.

+ Lead change management efforts, including training programs, communication plans, and user adoption strategies, to ensure successful integration of new systems into clinical environments.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

+ Ensure that all clinical system implementations adhere to industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS requirements.

+ Conduct regular quality assurance checks and audits throughout the implementation process to maintain high standards of system reliability and functionality.

Data Integration and Interoperability

+ Oversee data integration processes, including interfacing with other healthcare systems (e.g., EHR, lab, pharmacy), ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.

+ Collaborate with IT and data management teams to implement data governance best practices and maintain data integrity across systems.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system performance and user satisfaction, regularly tracking and reporting outcomes to clients and senior management.

+ Use analytics to assess system usage, identify trends, and develop recommendations for continuous improvement in clinical system delivery.

Team Leadership and Development

+ Lead and mentor a team of analysts and consultants, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-quality system delivery and client satisfaction.

+ Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to build technical expertise and project management skills within the team.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system performance and user satisfaction, regularly tracking and reporting outcomes to clients and senior management.

+ Use analytics to assess system usage, identify trends, and develop recommendations for continuous improvement in clinical system delivery.

Industry Best Practices and Thought Leadership

+ Stay current on clinical system advancements, healthcare IT trends, and regulatory changes, ensuring solutions meet the latest industry standards and best practices.

+ Contribute to thought leadership by developing insights, whitepapers, and presenting at industry conferences to position the firm as a leader in clinical systems delivery.

Here’s what you need:    

+ Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics , Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field .

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical systems implementation, healthcare IT project management, or clinical informatics .

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience with healthcare information systems, including EHRs, clinical decision support systems, and interoperability standards .

Bonus points if you have :  

+ Master's degree

+ Experience working with or leading global teams. 

+ Thrive in a diverse, fast paced environment. 

+ An advanced degree in the area of specialization .

+ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

+ Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

+ Leadership experience, including team management and project oversight. 

+ Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PMP), with a track record of successful clinical system deliverie s.

+ Certification in healthcare IT (e.g., CPHIMS, CAHIMS) or project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).

+ Proficiency in data integration and interoperability solutions, as well as working knowledge of data analytics tools .

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
