**** FULL-TIME: $2K SIGN ON BONUS ***** Recently Increased Wages and Sign On Bonus available!Responsible to complete clinical and administrative tasks within the physician office setting. Job duties may include: patient assessment including vital signs and administration of injections, scheduling and chart preparation, EMR documentation, and other tasks as delegated by the supervisor.

EducationMinimum: High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred: Completion of a Certificate/Diploma/Degree Program in a Healthcare related field

Registration/Certification/Licensure:Family & Friends CPR and Act 33/73 clearances

I. Specific Job Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

+ Performs patient assessment and physical examination appropriate to age and disability of patient and pertinent to the patient’s condition. Documents findings in EMR.

+ Responsible to schedule patients based on physician availability and/or acuity of patient.

+ Obtains authorizations, updates insurance information and reconciles daily charge sheets in a timely, efficient manner.

+ Prepares patient charts according to physician specific protocols and office schedule.

+ Appropriate utilization of EMR for verification of med refills, call processing and progress notes.

II. Organizational Responsibilities:

+ Completed mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.

+ Completed annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.

+ Maintained license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.

+ Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self. Identifies and works to reduce potentially unsafe patient care or other safety practices.

+ Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
