Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

In this role, you will come up with scenarios that advanced adversaries might try to compromise our security, and execute these attacks in a safe manner and in accordance with our rules of engagement. As a member of the Offensive Security team you will both emulate the techniques used by known hacker groups, and come up with new techniques that adversaries might attempt in the future.

After each exercise you will thoroughly document any findings and present the results to colleagues as well as leadership. You will work closely with members of the blue teams to improve our detection capabilities, and other parts of the security and affected product teams to design defense-in-depth controls that limit attackers' ability to move inside our network.
