The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events and the Chief Data Office for Finance and Treasury & Chief Investment Office (T/CIO). The team also provides a centralized product and program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices, with a current focus on overseeing the General Ledger products.
As a Product Owner, Vice President within the General Ledger (GL) Products - Data & Reporting Services team, you will focus on product management of the Finance Lakehouse. Acting on on behalf of the Finance Stakeholders, You will have an unique opportunity to drive strategic platform initiatives and transformation of the Finance Lakehouse and the opportunity to work closely with line of business stakeholders, data subject matter experts and technology teams.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Develop business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, including controller, data management and technology teams.
+ Document business requirements in Epic/Story format using JIRA.
+ Lead story refinement and grooming sessions with technology partners.
+ Partner with UAT testing teams to support acceptance criteria use cases and provide product support during testing phases.
+ Analyze large datasets and workflow processes to evaluate viable process alternatives.
+ Analyze and define data transformation requirements from legacy to strategy repositories.
+ Support and participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of requirements throughout their lifecycle to ensure quality and timely delivery and support product cabinet sessions and communications.
**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:**
+ 7+ years of experience in the financial services or data management industries.
+ Experience in product management, management consulting, and change management supporting large-scale business and technology initiatives.
+ Strong issue resolution and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt to hybrid practices.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and succinct updates for all organizational levels, build relationships and influence colleagues, technical, and functional partners.
+ Experience in cloud and supporting data analytics frameworks, such as various AWS data processing services, Snowflake, SageMaker, Starburst, Databricks, etc.
+ Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Business Objects Tableau, PowerBI) and advanced excel skills
+ Demonstrated ability to articulate data insights in business context via customized reports, visualizations, and presentations
+ Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional initiatives and prioritize work effectively.
