**Schedule:** Part-Time

**Shift:** Nights - 6:45pm - 7:15am, 2 shifts per week

**The community you’ll be caring for:** _60 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Palm Coast, FL 32164_

**The role you’ll contribute:** Responsible for the continual observation, documentation and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patient’s physician.

**The value you’ll bring to the team**

· Obtains, interprets, and documents cardiac monitoring data per standard, documenting per standard in the telemetry monitoring system.

· Documents changes in heart rhythms per policy.

· Communicates changes in patient’s rhythm pattern and follows escalation process as applicable.

· Assesses and maintains telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.

· Enters all telemetry charges if applicable.

· Provides support to patient care staff.

· Maintains monitor room inventory.

· Demonstrates tactfulness, diplomacy,, and courteousness in all contacts with patients, visitors, physicians, and any other health team members.

· Promotes and demonstrates Service Standard behaviors throughout departments.

· Respects and maintains manager / employee / patient confidentiality.

· Maintains an organized work environment

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:**

**REQUIRED:**

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Must be proficient in the English language

· Monitor technician experience or successful completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training program or equivalent

· Basic computer skills

· Pleasant telephone manner and organizational skills

· Ability to work with patients / public in potentially difficult situations

**PREFFERED:**

· One (1) year monitor tech experience preferred.

· Medical terminology.
