We are seeking Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer to join our team in building the next generation Avionics platforms safety analysis, systems requirements and functional deliveries. The product you will be working on new generation architecture platform. You will be responsible for analyzing product designs, conducting tests, and working with multidisciplinary teams to identify and mitigate potential risks. The Product Safety Analyst will evaluate product safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. The individual will perform risk assessments, analyze data, conduct investigations, and collaborate with product development teams to facilitate the safe design and manufacture of products. You will be coached and mentored by senior engineers to you grow your safety analysis skills through relevant and challenging on the job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
+ Safety assessment (FMEA, FTA, Risks, Mitigation and Hazard analysis)
+ Identify risks and mitigations for upsets due to atmospheric radiation
+ Safety certification and compliance requirements knowledge (ARP 4761, ARP 4754A/B)
+ Safety Analysis documentation for regulatory submissions
+ Safety & Systems verification & validation
+ Cross functional collaboration and Customer interaction
+ Participate in product safety policies and procedures
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
+ 10+ years of overall experience working on embedded systems and Safety products
+ 5+ years of experience in product Safety, Product testing or compliance roles
WE VALUE
+ Advanced Knowledge in systems development lifecycle
+ Proficient in safety analysis tools and methodologies
+ Knowledge of avionics products and their development lifecycle
+ Knowledge of Compliance analyses and certification aspects
+ Familiar with laboratory and testing environments
+ Part of working in diverse and global team environment
+ Experience developing avionics systems requirements and utilization of requirements management tools such as DOORS/DOORSNG.
+ Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
+ Multi-tasking and can manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
