Sr Director of Sales and Distribution - Aramark Destinations

**Job Description**

As the Sr. Director of Sales and Distribution for Aramark Destinations, you will lead the portfolio-wide sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth across all properties. Your primary focus will be on developing a strategic approach to key market segments, with an emphasis on affinity partnerships, meeting and event procurement companies, online travel agencies (OTAs), bed banks, and tour and travel operators. This role includes cultivating strong relationships with distributors and achieving annual sales targets.

You will oversee the Sales Center of Excellence, directly managing portfolio sales leaders and support teams, while providing thought leadership and guidance. In addition, you will develop systems that support property-level sales leaders, optimize distribution partnerships, and collaborate with operational leaders to ensure sales goals are consistently met.

This role requires the ability to build a high-performance sales culture focused on revenue generation, leadership development, and accountability. As the senior sales leader, you will play a crucial role in positioning Aramark Destinations for growth and future success.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Lead overall sales strategy and execution across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

+ Develop strategic account management approaches for key market segments, focusing on meetings and events, affinity partnerships, tour and travel, OTAs, and intermediaries.

+ Drive the achievement of annual sales targets, ensuring consistent year-over-year revenue growth.

+ Partner with the VP of Sales & Marketing and property leaders to create and implement annual sales plans for key segments, including meetings and events, tour operators, OTAs, intermediaries, and affinity partnerships.

+ Align sales strategies with B2B marketing initiatives to boost market share and enhance brand visibility.

+ Recruit, train, and lead the centralized sales support team, while providing thought leadership, training, and development to the property-level teams.

+ Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of sales performance across the portfolio.

+ Provide coaching and direction to property-level sales leaders to ensure effective client fulfillment and performance goals are met.

+ Set clear objectives, accountability measures, and performance standards for all sales staff.

+ Collaborate with operational leaders to develop property-specific sales plans that address local market opportunities and revenue goals.

+ Participate in the performance review process for property-level sales teams, providing insights on professional development and performance improvement.

+ Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize rate strategies, distribution performance, and group bookings to maximize profitability.

+ Represent Aramark Destinations at industry events and associations, positioning the company as a leader within the meetings and events, OTA, affinity, and tour and travel markets.

+ Organize and execute client engagement events that strengthen relationships, enhance product awareness, and drive business growth.

+ Develop and implement sales plans for key accounts, ensuring alignment with property-wide revenue goals.

+ Participate in high-priority sales calls, providing coaching and feedback to sales teams to drive improvement and results.

+ Ensure consistent application of Sales Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all properties to maintain high-quality sales execution.

+ Utilize sales and revenue management software, CRM platforms, and industry reports to track performance against key metrics, such as RevPAR growth, conversion rates, and client acquisition costs.

+ Leverage data insights to refine sales and distribution strategies and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

+ Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights, to senior leadership.

+ Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize distribution partnerships, focusing on lead generation, rate strategy, and market penetration.

+ Drive business from international inbound markets by leveraging distribution partnerships and aligning marketing investments with sales goals, particularly in partnership with 3rd party intermediaries in the tour and travel and meeting and event space.

+ Foster a culture of exceptional guest service within the sales team, ensuring positive interactions that contribute to the overall guest experience.

+ Protect and enhance the Aramark Destinations brand by ensuring all client-facing activities reflect the company?s values of service, quality, and excellence.

**Qualifications**

? Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.

? Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, particularly in multi-property hotel sales and distribution.

? Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in meetings and events, affinity partnerships, tour and travel, or OTAs.

? Client Relationships: Strong existing relationships with key industry players in the tour and travel, meetings, and OTA segments.

? Skills: Strong business acumen with experience in analyzing financial data, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and sales tracking software.

? Leadership: Proven ability to lead, train, and develop high-performing sales teams in a multi-property environment.

? Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities.

? Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet business needs.

? Additional: High work ethic, self-initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in schedule to meet demand
