THE WORK:

+ You’ll participate in sponsor kickoff meetings to assist in determining project scope and perform desktop analysis to develop preliminary detailed scopes of work.

+ You’ll request and review proposals from client design engineering contractors(Prime), validate their scope, schedule estimates, and resource requirements, and provide recommendations to client discipline leaders.

+ You’ll oversee Prime’s design engineering work, ensuring designs are within scope, progress according to schedule, and meet quality standards at key milestones(30%, 60%, 90%).

+ You’ll provide project updates, oversee quality assurance of design packages, and issue final deliverables to Corporate Drawing Management (CDM).

+ You’ll coordinate with engineering disciplines, field organizations, and participate in project status meetings, occasionally leading them as required.

+ You’ll review invoices submitted by Primes, ensuring accuracy and providing first-level approvals, escalating inconsistencies to client discipline leaders.

+ You’ll support construction by addressing site representative requests, facilitating Prime responses, and arranging field meetings for project reviews.

+ You’ll recommend updates to client specifications, standards, and guidelines as necessary and manage development and completion of project Bills of Materials(B/M).

+ You’ll oversee jurisdictional permitting requirements and collaborate with environmental groups for waste characterization and SPCC evaluations.

+ You’ll review and approve Prime submittals, shop details, and eMEL order forms for long lead items.

+ Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering

+ Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets safety requirements

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

+ Thorough knowledge of land development design practices, including grading, drainage, paving, hydrology, and erosion control

+ Experience with structural engineering design practices, including foundations, footings, steel structures, and compliance with industry codes (e.g., CBC, IBC,ASCE)

+ State of California professional engineering (Civil) license

+ Familiarity with AutoCAD, Risa 3D, Enercalc, and similar structural software programs

+ Experience with geotechnical engineering practices, including assessments, field investigations, and laboratory testing.

+ Knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory requirements within client territory

+ Strong ability to coordinate across disciplines and resolve construction and design issues efficiently
