**Job summary**

As a Senior Claims Specialist you will support Claims Team Leader in day-to-day tasks, help leading a team of Claims Specialists and provide best in class claims resolution services to the business.

**Your Key Responsibilities:**

+ Back up Team Leader duties and leadership of the Claims Team when required

+ Drive actions to achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

+ Support collaborative communication between the Claims Team and other Shared Service Center teams, Sales, Finance, Distribution & Transportation (D&T), Quality, Warehouse, Customer Service etc.

+ Support Claims Specialists by providing training and mentoring

+ Help drive root cause analysis and analyze monthly reporting

+ Resolution of customer claims, debit notes and disputes according to specified dispute registration and claims management procedures

+ Timely investigation of claims (with all relevant departments), debit notes or disputes and the gathering of all the information needed to approve/reject claims, debit notes and disputes based on investigation

+ Effective communication and collaboration between the functions of Accounts Receivable; Collections, Cash application and also with Customer Service, Finance, D&T, Quality.

+ Sarbanes Oxley compliance in the claims management area.

+ Digital filing of all completed claims forms, documentation and proof of deliveries.

+ Timely issuing of credit notes according to the correct authorization schedule and accompanied by all required data.

**What You’ll Need**

**Minimum:**

+ 3+ years of experience in a similar position

+ Fluent in English (written and spoken)

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Outlook, Word

+ Knowledge of SAP (including FSCM)
