Consumer Channel & Partner Marketing Manager

In Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) our purpose is to earn fans and drive growth by building emotional connections to delight and empower everyone. We engage with consumers globally throughout their shopping journeys, navigating both physical storefronts and digital visits across Direct and Partner Channels in Gaming, Windows, M365 and Surface. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert for campaign operations and platform management for the Devices and Creativity customer solution area (CSA), deeply understanding the business priorities, associated product roadmaps, as well as internal and external users and audiences. You will be accountable for coordinating between the line of business campaign workflows into campaign management tools and platforms to deliver campaign assets to partners in localized formats, leveraging a proprietary platform for managing campaign workflows.

You’ll work with partner marketers to influence the design of unique Microsoft experiences within the platform and coordinate with external agencies who host the platform to ensure seamless implementation and regional field landing. Working across organizational boundaries finding synergies to help inform roadmap decisions and articulating to the supplier the Microsoft needs. You will collaborate with CSO and DPS (Device Partner Sales) channel and partner marketing managers on how to optimize campaign production and deployment across ecosystems with the goal of simplifying process, increasing creative compliance, introducing AI features to help with localization/asset production and ensuring we have secure partner sharing meeting all compliance requirements.

You’ll be deeply embedded in global Devices and Creativity communities, supporting global strategy, campaigns and assets and localizing them for market and partner relevance across digital, visual merchandising and other co-marketing efforts retail partners via our tools and platforms for campaigns.

As the owner of the Devices and Creativity consumer marketing experience, you’ll have the opportunity to share feedback around the voice of the customer, capture learnings and establish best practices, leveraging the global infrastructure for support and shared platforms.

**Responsibilities**

**Campaign Platform oversight and management**

+ Be the subject matter expert on the campaign management platforms and workflows.

+ Collect user feedback and action them with the supplier with the goal of simplifying the user experience and increase speed to market

+ With vendor support ensure that all Microsoft SaaS platform compliance is adhered to and ensure the supplier meets all timelines and expectations set by Microsoft.

+ Establish relationships with the inbound team of discipline leads across Windows, Microsoft 365, Surface and PC Accessories to ensure timelines are met for each of our campaign cycles and that our discipline teams are educated and executing our Asset Pack and Manifest processes

+ Establish a relationship with our outbound team of field landing leads across the 3 line of businesses in the Consumer Sales Organization (Retail) and landing leads in Device Partner Sales (OEM partners (HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, Asus, Samsung, Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, etc) organizations to help with landing usage and circling feedback that would inform future roadmaps

**Overseeing the training plan** **/execution** **for using our campaign platform** **s**

+ Localize global strategy, campaigns and assets to territories and retail partners, driving adoption and usage of global programs, platforms and playbooks via the tools.

+ Leverage Devices and Creativity marketing calendars for the line of business that represents key product campaigns, seasonal beats and launches across markets and partners and ensure the platform is ready for the scope

+ Work with the supplier on building training content for platform features and build fans that know how to use the platform to help land training to new users in region

**Supplier management and communications**

+ Work with the team to manage the supplier and ensure that all communications and briefs going to the supplier have clarity and guidance mapped to SLA expectations and schedules

+ Manage internal communications to the field highlighting new platform updates, campaign asset updates and timelines

+ Establish a marketing operations council pulling users from each of the 3 regions to help inform roadmaps, problem solve and use as advocates in region supporting usage of the platform

**Qualifications**

**Required/Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 3+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience

+ OR equivalent experience.

**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience

+ OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 2+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience

+ OR equivalent experience

+ Proven success at marketing and execution planning - particularly Retail Marketing with Consumer Technology products.

+ Direct experience interfacing with partners and a proven track record delivering growth/performance metrics.

+ Ability to understand the digital and physical buying journey (omni channel), well-versed in sales channels, commerce platforms.

+ Expertise landing and coordinating cross-discipline marketing programs.

+ Track record of marketing execution excellence and ROI through planning, operations-savvy, creative execution, readiness and analytics/insights.

+ New product launch experience.

+ Experience managing ambiguity and rapid change - demonstrate agility and risk-taking.

Partner Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
