Group Finance Manager

Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) is a deal framework intended to propel customers to invest in the Azure platform and has become a key enabler of many strategic partnerships. We are currently looking for a **Group Finance Manager** to join our team. The **Group Finance Manager** role sits within the Corporate Finance and Services Organization (CFS) and partners across business groups including: Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations with the responsibility to ensure MACC agreements are accounted for and reported on correctly and compliantly.

**Responsibilities**

The MACC **Group Finance Manager** is the key finance person responsible for:

+ **Providing subject matter expertise** and collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Business Planning, Engineering, Deal Desk, Customer Success, Field, and Finance teams to solve business problems.

+ **Delivering quality reporting** throughout the commitment lifecycle, from initial transaction to mid-term renegotiations and expiration.

+ **Ensuring the reliability of systematic reporting** and advocating for enhanced automation to support this critical strategic sales motion.

+ **This position requires the ability** **of effectively prioritizing** tasks and operating within a degree of ambiguity in a changing environment.

+ **Use of Microsoft's data analytics tools** to provide quality, timely and accurate balance reporting for customer balances, supporting financial close processes

+ **Oversee accurate and compliant execution** of commitment shortfall invoicing process and enablement of MACC agreements.

**Qualifications**

**Required/Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience

+ OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience

+ OR equivalent experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 5+ years Program and Project Mgmt experience

+ Experience working within ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, and creating effecting partnerships; ability to make the complex simple

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups, responsive with customer service orientation

+ Software and technology industry experience a plus

Accounting IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
