Senior Project Manager - Nuclear Projects

**CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Project Manager - Nuclear Projects opening for our client in Richland, WA.**

**Location:** Richland, WA

**Duration:** 12 months

**Duties:**

+ Manage all aspects of large-scale, multidiscipline nuclear projects and programs exceeding $10M in total cost.

+ Lead teams of 10+ members and direct cross-functional activities through project initiation, planning, execution, and closeout phases.

+ Provide oversight for refueling outages, forced outages, and online work to ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.

+ Develop, manage, and track project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with business goals and risk tolerance.

+ Interface regularly with clients, engineers, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure progress and resolve issues.

+ Manage contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring performance and deliverables meet contractual requirements.

+ Mentor and coach junior and mid-level project managers to support their development.

+ Prepare and deliver oral and written presentations to executive and cross-functional audiences.

+ Support strategic planning, long-range scheduling, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Support outage control center activities, as needed.

**Skills:**

+ Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

+ Expertise in nuclear industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

+ Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

+ Understanding of human performance improvement (HPI) and error reduction strategies.

+ Ability to manage complex schedules, critical path analysis, and risk mitigation.

+ Knowledge of project controls, budgeting, procurement, and construction oversight.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum 20 years of experience in a technical field with increasing levels of responsibility.

+ Extensive experience in commercial nuclear environments focused on maintenance, engineering, operations, or construction.

+ Demonstrated success in managing complex projects or outage-related activities at a nuclear power facility.

+ Proven ability to evaluate and improve maintenance and project performance programs.

+ Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.

+ Experience in diverse technical assignments highly desired.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited institution and 20 years of experience; _OR_

+ Associate degree and 22 years of experience; _OR_

+ High school diploma or GED and 24 years of experience.

+ RO/SRO License or equivalent management certification required.

+ PMP certification required.

+ Construction Management Certification desired.

+ Advanced degree in a related field may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.57/hr to $105/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
