**A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!**

+ Determine the product vision and strategy, and successfully implement it in alignment with the company's goals and Operational Unit goals.

+ Collaborate with diverse teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements- Balancing competing priorities, decide which features to build, enhance, or prioritize. Consider user impact, business value, and technical feasibility as factors.

+ Act as advocate for internal and external users throughout the product development process. Ensure collaborator alignment by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, business owners, IT partners and executives. Ensure everyone is on the same page regarding the product’s direction.

+ Conduct research, gather feedback, and understand user pain points. Perform market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and potential areas for growth. Leverage this research to strengthen the business case and make informed decisions about product features, pricing, and positioning

+ Articulate what product success looks like and develop and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring flawless execution of product development and delivery.

+ Collaborate closely with team members to gather requirements, define user stories, and ensure timely and successful project deliveries.

+ Monitor key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to continuously improve product offerings. While building a product, leverage clean data practices and employ technology advancements in the AI and Emerging Tech space.

+ Drive user adoption and engagement through effective product marketing and communication strategies

+ Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners as a knowledgeable resource in the field. Leverage vendor and partner ecosystem to SCE’s advantage for high impact/High value partnership opportunities at optimal costs

**The essentials**

+ Seven (7) or more years of experience managing Products/ Projects (being mindful of scope, schedule, and budget).

+ Five (5) or more years of experience practicing Agile values, methodologies, and principles.

+ Experience drafting detailed product requirements from user stories to Product Requirement Documents.

+ Experience with User Experience concepts, and creating mockups, prototypes, proof of concepts.

+ Experience with product collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Octane, Aha, etc.).

**The preferred**

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field of study.

+ Three (3) or more years of experience and expertise as a Product Manager, or in a similar role within Information Technology in a High Tech industry, Utility Industry, or similar vertical.

+ Experience with Agile technologies and tools.

+ Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making

+ Ambitious and self-motivated, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the capacity to compete and adapt to changing priorities

+ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

+ Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment

**You should know**

+ This position’s work mode is **hybrid** . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs
