**Responsibilities:**
+ May provide supervisory support and assistance to Management, as applicable.
+ Provides evaluation and device management to patients under the supervision of a physician
+ Educates patients and families regarding device function, clinic follow-up scheduling and device home monitoring.
+ Ensures correct billing and coding of device checks.
+ Identifies opportunities for enhanced workflow in the clinics in collaboration with management.
+ Assists with wound checks following implants.
+ Assists the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as needed
+ Functions without supervision and, may coordinate others, as applicable.
**Required Education:**
+ HS Diploma or GED
**Required Licensure and Experience (1 of the following):**
+ Cardiology Arrhythmia Certification and 3 years of healthcare or 1 year of Cardiology or
+ Cardiology Arrhythmia Certification and graduation from an approved technical school specializing in implanted devices and/or arrhythmia or
+ RN license and 5 years of implanted cardiac device experience
**Preferred Experience:**
+ Working with programmers from major device companies and utilizing remote monitoring sites from major device companies
**Preferred Certifications:**
+ CRAT Certification (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
+ RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
+ CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist)
+ CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist)
