**Who We Are**

Our team is responsible for improving 3D graphics performance of Intel GPUs on Windows platform. You will join the team in Oregon, California or another location, with the option to work fully remote for individuals if you have demonstrated high productivity while working remotely.

You will be part of a highly collaborative team that analyzes AAA games, including pre-release titles, for optimization opportunities. We then optimize our driver and shader performance for graphics rendering to improve user experience. As part of this effort, we are also developing internal tools and analysis capabilities.

**Who You Are**

We are hiring new graduates as well as experienced engineers. Behavioral skills we are looking for include a demonstrated ability to be productive individually and as part of a teams and effective communication of technical details.

**Qualifications**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree + 1 year work experience or expected master’s degree and PhD graduates in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.

+ Knowledge in programming and problem-solving skills in C/C++ Knowledge of the graphics pipeline, DirectX/D3D, Vulkan, or another API, and GPU shader/kernel languages

+ Knowledge of GPU architecture, SIMD parallelism, and bottleneck analysis

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience in one or more of the following through work, school or personal projects:

+ Software development of 3D graphics rendering applications or drivers and/or performance optimizations

+ GPU hardware performance bottleneck analysis and performance optimizations

+ Development of shaders in HLSL, CUDA, LLVM, SPIR-V, or similar and performance optimizations

+ Development in Python and analysis of performance data

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $91,500.00-$137,436.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

**Working Model**

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
