**Your Career**

The Palo Alto Networks IT Automation team is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our RPA team. You will be part of a world-class IT organization that works on various ground-breaking technologies and supports the entire enterprise. **Your Impact**

+ Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using UiPath and other leading automation tools

+ Explore and evaluate new AI-driven automation technologies to enhance our automation capabilities

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and design solutions to optimize business processes

+ Develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and bots, ensuring high performance and reliability

+ Implement DevOps best practices to streamline the development, deployment, and monitoring of automation solutions

+ Administer and maintain automation solutions as required, ensuring their continuous and efficient operation

+ Actively participate in agile teams, adapting to dynamically changing priorities and delivering solutions in an iterative manner

+ Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members

+ Continuously improve automation processes and frameworks, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency

+ Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all automation solutions

**Your Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with 8+ years of experience working with enterprise and consumer IT applications or equivalent military experience required

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Robotic Process Automation with tools like UiPath, including multiple full-scale RPA implementations involving design, development of various automation components, and features

+ Proven experience in establishing design and development frameworks, standards, and best practices for Robotic Process Automation

+ Solid understanding of Software engineering and DevOps best practices

+ Proficient in provisioning and monitoring UiPath robots, deploying and triggering UiPath processes, managing UiPath assets and queues, publishing workflows, and handling job queues, pending jobs, and managing job cancellations/terminations

+ Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, to automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency

+ Experience with SAP ERP and familiarity with GCP architecture/fundamentals is preferred

+ Experience with AI-driven automation technologies and a strong curiosity to explore new advancements in the field

+ Proficiency in consuming and utilizing APIs and web services

+ Preferred certification in one or more RPA and other emerging automation technologies

+ Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

+ Proven ability to effectively communicate and present solutions to both business and IT stakeholders

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $123,900/yr to $201,300/yr.
