**Job Description:**
The Customer Account Lead- Starbucks by Nespresso (SBN) will be the main point of contact for the Retail 1P relationship with the Amazon (AMZ) Grocery buyer. This role will lead the day-to-day interactions with Amazon and SBN driving Nespresso’s strategic objectives across the platform and ensuring positive commercial outcomes. This role will also own the customer facing responsibilities, be responsible for the overall commercial health of the business and will own the demand driving activities to ensure positive commercial outcomes. These activities include promotion development, forecasting support, merchandising, content optimization, new item launches and financial planning.
The Customer Account Lead will also have the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally and working within a community of Ecommerce experts to elevate the Nespresso brand and drive positive commercial outcomes. This is a hybrid-based opportunity and candidates must be located either within the greater New York City/Tri-State area or in Seattle, Washington.
**Responsibilities:**
_Manage Starbucks by Nespresso on Amazon 1P_
• Manage demand driving activities across the platform and key stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
• 1P Amazon Retail Grocery Relationship - Manage the day-to-day interactions with the Amazon buyers and SVS.
• Catalog and PDP Management - Item/catalog maintenance, content enhancements and PDP monitoring.
• GM and Competitive Monitoring - track GM activities and key competitors in conjunction with analytics team.
• Securing Merchandising Packages - secure merch packages with AMZ.
• Brand Store Maintenance - Support Trade Marketing in maintaining and enhancing the brand store on Amazon.
• Account Presentations - lead key account meetings and presentations, T2T, JBP & MBR with AMZ.
• Andon Cords - work to address all Andon Cords.
• Vine - execute new item launches with seeding reviews.
_Deliver Capsule Growth Targets_
• Drive the Amazon/Starbucks by Nespresso capsules objectives to help achieve the team's OP targets through accurate forecasting, execution of merchandising and category activations, rationalizing assortments, contributing to media strategies and mitigating competitive pressures (All with a fiscally responsible mindset resulting in achievement of the team's financial goals and targets).
_Develop and Execute Business/Financial Plans_
• Attend and represent Amazon B2C during cross functional meetings providing the organization the necessary account info and updates.
• PO Submission and Reconciliation - Submit, track, monitor and adjust POs accordingly. Working with Finance and Trade Support teams.
• Updating Key Financial Reports - Finance DF(Investments and Forecasts).
• Nestle GAAT Involvement - In conjunction with Amazon B2C team, attend and represent Nespresso in key Nestle GAAT(Global Amazon Acceleration Team) meetings and workshops.
• Manage Agency Partnerships - Assist in providing key agencies with data and insights to better support Amazon retail. i.e. Merkle and Stackline; attend weekly calls as needed.
_Analyze Data & Develop Insights_
• Provide actionable insights into the health of the business from existing reports and / or develop additional with the support of Trade Planning and Analytics teams.
• POS / Sell-out Tracking - Provide weekly updates / insights on Capsules sell-out.
• Amazon KPI Tracking - Work with Planning to gather key Amazon KPI’s (i.e. LBBX, Rep OOS, Glance Views, Conversions, etc.).
• New Item Performance - Tracking new items and recent assortment additions.
• Amazon Dashboards - Assist the Analytics team in the weekly distribution of the ONE Dashboard, providing context and background to the numbers.
• Planning and Forecasting Tools - Continue to evolve current planning tools in conjunction with Trade Planning teams.
• Data Reporting and Insights - Utilize 1P and 3P data solutions and providers, Amazon Brand View, Stackline Market Data, Croud performance dashboards.
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or in a related field required.
• 5+ years of experience working in the CPG, Retail or in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) required.
• 2+ years of experience working or supporting Amazon accounts is required, preferably supporting Amazon Vendor Supply or Amazon.com Strategic Vendor Services.
• 2+ years of experience working in Amazon Vendor Central required.
• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
• Must have excellent strategic planning skills including securing Direct Manager alignment and validation across multiple cross-functional business units.
• Must have strong financial management skills, including an in-depth understating of Amazon P&L and vendor/brand financials.
• Must possess strong communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision (agility).
• Must possess strong analytical, thcnical and project management skills.
• 1+ years of experience supporting "other ecommerce" business whether Direct Channels, Brick & Mortar.com or Pure Players is highly desired.
• Willing and able to travel up to 5% based on the needs of the team and the business required.
The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
