**Position Overview:**

Highly motivated and experienced Sr. Transportation Manager to lead our strategy and transformation initiatives within the transportation organization. This role is pivotal in driving service and logistics efficiency for our customers, building capabilities within the team, and spearheading continuous process improvement and digitalization projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Leadership and Management

• Manage and mentor a team of consultants and senior specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Set clear objectives and expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and professional development opportunities.

Strategy and Transformation

• Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with the overall business goals and enhance operational efficiency.

• Lead transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing logistics and service delivery processes.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and improvement within the transportation function.

Service and Logistics Efficiency

• Drive initiatives to improve service levels and logistics efficiency for our customers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transportation strategies and solutions.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address any gaps in performance.

Capability Building

• Develop and implement training programs to build capabilities within the transportation organization.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement among team members.

Continuous Process Improvement

• Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Utilize data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Project Management

• Lead and manage projects within the transportation function, ensuring timely and successful completion.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Track project progress and report on key milestones and outcomes.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in transportation management, logistics, or a related field, with a focus on strategy and transformation.

• Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation within a transportation function.

The approximate pay range for this position is $135,000.00 to $188,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
