Job Summary

Job Summary: As the Executive Chef at Eckerd College, you will be the leader of all culinary operations for the dining account. This role demands oversight of safety, sanitation, cost management, and menu development, ensuring high standards in culinary service.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement cost control strategies to manage expenditures for the account effectively.

+ Design and update menus, reflecting creativity and seasonal offerings.

+ Manage food and inventory procurement processes.

+ Lead the rollout of new culinary programs, collaborating with the marketing and culinary teams to enhance dining experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Culinary Arts degree is highly preferred.

+ 3-5 years of experience in culinary management, ideally within an academic setting.

+ Extensive experience in high volume production and catering is crucial.

+ Demonstrated ability in managing cost controls and financials.

+ Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in a dynamic food service environment.

+ A desire to continue learning and progressing within a premier foodservice company.
