Mental Health Technician Prime Pool

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced **Mental Health Technician Prime Pool** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at St. Anthon'ys Hospital!

The **Mental Health Technician Prime Pool** position is responsible for:

+ Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.

+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and well-being.

+ Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

+ Assists with physical care under the direction of a RN.

+ Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

**Required Certifications and Licensures:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

+ Patient Care Technician - preferred

**Required Education:**

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent - required OR

+ Associate's in a related field - Preferred

**Experience:**

+ 6 months Healthcare Preferred
