Patient Access Services Coordinator

**Responsibilities**

+ The Patient Access Service (PAS) Coordinator is responsible for performing functions in any or all of the following PAS modalities: Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, Cashier, Insurance, and Document Imaging, proficient in all of the Patient Access Service modalities within the department, resolves PAS and customer service issues, processes payroll, maintains department staffing schedules, assists the manager in providing guidance and direction to the Patient Access Service Representatives, may be required to rotate shifts, and occasionally takes on-call responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned

**Certifications and Licensures**

+ Preferred (related field)

**Education**

+ Required High School or equivalent

+ Preferred – Associates in related field

**Experience**

+ Required 3 years related field

**Shift Hours:** **7:30AM-5:00PM**

**Shift:** **Shift 1**

**Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies**
