+ **Schedule:** PRN Days. This associate will work between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday shifts.

**Responsibilities**

Provide care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within scope of license.

+ Contribute to the assessment of patients and assure the well-being of patients.

+ Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.

+ Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.

+ Educate patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,if applicable.

**Additional Preferences**

**Medical Assistant:**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.

+ Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.

+ Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.

+ Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

**Licensed Practical Nurse:**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.

+ Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.

+ Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.

+ Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

**Medical Assistant**

**Licensure/Certification/Registration:**

+ **Required Credential(s):**

+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Months (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

**Education:**

+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

**Work Experience:**

+ Some experience as a medical assistant strongly preferred.

**Clinic LPN**

**Licensed Practical Nurse:**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.

+ Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.

+ Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.

+ Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.
