In AppleCare we believe in providing world class support to our customers for the devices that they have purchased. We are looking for a highly motivated and self driven individual who will be responsible for driving cross functional repair programs. The scope of this role will be spanning factory, hardware and software development. You will have to drive the overall schedule of repair projects from conceptualization to design to execution to deployment. You will be responsible for recognizing and communicating cross-functional issues and risks. You will have to work with engineering teams to develop requirements, drive implementation schedules, coordinate and drive fixes for software issues, repair systems related issues as well as present the potential issues and their impact to repair lines and other impacted teams.
**Description**
In this role you will be partnering with AppleCare Readiness teams and Repair architects to understand and lead systems and software changes impacting iOS / MacOS, FDR, Core OS, and Hardware Development. Design project implementation plans for repair feature developments and execute on those plans with cross functional engineering teams. Lead design reviews and approve design milestones and success criteria for each milestone Coordinate program reviews and status updates on top engineering issues to all levels of management including senior executives. Lead validation of repair SW features and AppleCare repair systems for field releases and repair launches Ensure close inter-team coordination and end to end collaboration on deliverables Overall responsibility to ensure all engineering and technical aspects of AppleCare repairs programs are delivered on a timely manner
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in related occupation.
+ 5+ years of Hardware and Software Project management experience
+ Experience in leading large cross functional teams
+ Experience in coordinating programs end to end from design to release
+ Understanding of operating systems; (iOS, MacOS, iPadOS)
+ Detailed knowledge and understanding of product development processes
+ Negotiation and risk management experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working with OEM and Factory test stations is highly desired

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
