Senior Informatica Data Engineer

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented **Senior** **Informatica** **Data Engineer** to join our team. The position is remote with the possibility of occasional client site travel that will differ from engagement to engagement, but is expected to be 10% or less.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Use Informatica PowerCenter to build, test, and maintain product modules, components, and subsystems.

+ Install Informatica products, including PowerCenter, Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, and Informatica Data Quality.

+ Research and integrate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.

+ Develop technical designs and specifications for complex data pipelines/data flows for customer/customers.

+ Identify data quality issues and potential remediations for consideration by the project manager and customer.

+ Identify data gaps and potential remediation or integration activity for consideration by project manager and customer.

+ Create quality deliverables for customers.

+ Drive full life cycle of services/solution delivery for project(s).

+ Provide technical leadership to lower-level engineers.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ 10+ years’ performing data engineering tasks, such as extract/transform/load (ETL) design and development, data cleansing, and data pipeline maintenance

+ 10+ years’ expert-level Informatica product experience, performing installations in a Linux environment, configuration, development, and administration in multiple environments

+ Use of Informatica products must be recent (no later than within the past two years)

+ 10+ years with data warehouse

+ 10+ years as a database developer or administrator for a major relational database management system (e.g., Oracle)

+ Experience with decision support/business intelligence tools, including Power BI and Tableau

+ Experience with the Agile Scrum software development process

+ Experience with developing scripts

+ Experience with Department of Defense clients

+ Experience working for a consulting firm

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Familiarity with AWS as a source and target (e.g., S3, Redshift) for ETL

**Security Clearance Requirements:**

+ US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to travel (10% or less).

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
