Aegis Combat Systems Analyst

**Job Summary:**
In this role, you will be responsible for developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance. This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1F Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance
+ Attend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues
+ Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university
+ 3+ years of Navy fleet experience
+ Must be a former Junior US Naval Officer
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with the AEGIS Combat System
+ Ability to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefs
+ Experience working with SharePoint and Confluence
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must possess a current or active U.S. Government Secret Security clearance.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
