Our work depends on a Business Analyst joining our team to support the United States, Department of State activities located in Washington DC and remotely.
You will be responsible for managing the meeting with the client, customers, and team members, capturing requirements, building stories, planning, implementing, and administrating process improvement initiatives.

+ Working with senior management to analyze the current state and recommending and justifying innovation opportunities through defensible business cases justifying investments.
+ Analyzing alternative technical and business solutions to address known errors.
+ Writing business and functional requirements in the development of complex processes
+ Facilitating a business requirements session lead with participants representing varied concerns
+ Working closely with stakeholders to promote and develop new and improved solutions
+ Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
+ Building business cases and associated pricing estimates for submission to the client
+ Creating test plans against requirements
+ Analyzing and writing scope change requests to requirements
**Skills** :
+ Strong customer service orientation
+ Ability to work well within a large team environment and to work independently, as required, to produce deliverable that are clear, concise, and properly formatted for professional presentations.
+ Self-motivated and directed, with a proactive, positive approach to problem solving
+ Excellent documentation skills, including writing of effective user stories, value stream mapping and use of diagramming software such as MS Visio; experience with wireframing preferred
+ Creating deliverables, reports and briefings
+ Superior presentation and negotiation skills
+ Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
+ Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
+ Ability to translate requirements between business, technical and finance personnel
+ Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
+ Understanding of ServiceNow platform
+ High level of expertise in Microsoft suite.
**Experience** :
At least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
ITIL v4 certified preferred
The likely salary range for this position is $143,650 - $194,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
