**Location Type:** Remote/ Atlanta, GA / or Wichita, KS Preferred

As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for day-to-day planning for sourced finished goods (~$9M) to support revenue of ~$26M for the OAR division. More specifically, this position will have the responsibility for our sourced finished good from suppliers located globally, validates balancing of supply with demand over the short and long-term planning horizon. You are responsible for responding to demand and supply changes in a timely and accurate manner.

A "can-do" attitude along with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and cross functional collaboration is essential for success in this position

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Monthly responsibilities include identifying and communicating forward looking constraints, active participation in our SOE and S&OP process through escalating known supply constraint issues in SOE and S&OP

+ Maintain system parameters to assist appropriate levels of inventory in the DC’s to ensure proper turns, eliminate stock outs, minimize excess & obsolescence taking in consideration lead times, production cycle times, and forecast accuracy

+ Day to day execution planning responsibilities domestically sourced items, including working with Newell Central Sourcing team in China, transportation tracking, customer service communications

+ Partner with Demand Planning during the new product launch process to bridge initial product launch expectations to realized marketplace signals

+ Drive best in class service >98.5% on A&B items and overall fill rate of 95%

+ Analyze the root cause to improve days on hand, stock out and reduce excess & obsolescence

+ Be an advocate in the development process to ensure supply chain milestone dates are met and delays do not jeopardize Service and Inventory metrics

+ Run weekly reports to support the Supply and SRM process

**Qualifications**

+ Four-year college degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related Analytical Discipline

+ Supply Planner will have 3+ years of inventory and supply planning experience – ideally in the CPG/Consumer Packaged Goods industry

+ Self-starter who acts with a sense of urgency to drive results

+ Working knowledge of SAP enterprise (or other ERP), APO and ECC, Supply Planning

+ Strong analytical, communication skills, written and oral

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Proven ability to collaborate across and lead a team to achieve results

+ Proven ability to improve processes and gain efficiencies within those processes

+ Proven ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks

+ Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel + Power BI and Powerpoint)

+ Ability to listen and communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization

+ This role will require building accountable collaboration across internal functions

+ Continuous Improvement Mindset
