**THE JOB:**
It is the responsibility of the Dispatcher to provide excellent internal and external guest service by using excellent service and communication skills to support the guest and other departments.
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:**
• Manage computerized maintenance management systems to prioritize, manage, and dispatch guest service team; complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis
• Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task; own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure guests' satisfaction; answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas
• Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance; anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day; prioritize guests requests/dispatches
• Knowledgeable of department and company goals; knowledgeable of property information to answer guest inquiries, and work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention
• Perform other job-related duties as requested
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:**
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
• Possesses general knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Able to communicate through multi-line phone system, two-way radio and/or cellular telephone
• Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, & fax machine
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
